DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM

An extraordinary family concert of Polish art songs for children with 20 illustrations by Annelieke Lammerts van Bueren, Maurice’s daughter (16). During the concert the illustrations will be projected on a large screen. 

Of course the musicians will explain to the children in their language (English, German, French, Polish or Spanish) what the songs are about.

BESCHRIJVING VAN HET PROGRAMMA

Een bijzonder familieconcert: Poolse liederen voor kinderen, voorzien van 20 illustraties van Annelieke Lammerts van Bueren (16), dochter van Maurice. De tekeningen worden tijdens het concert geprojecteerd op een groot scherm.

Uiteraard wordt ieder lied in het Nederlands toegelicht.

N.B. Mocht de locatie niet over een beamer en scherm beschikken, dan nemen de musici deze zelf mee.

ALDONA BARTNIK, soprano

Polish soprano Aldona Bartnik studied at the Royal Conservatoire, The Hague, specialising both in solo and ensemble singing. Since 2008, Aldona has been cooperating with numerous prestigious groups including: Vox Luminis, La Risonanza, Collegium1704, Hespèrion XXI, Collegium Vocale Gent, De Nederlandse Bachvereniging, cooperating with conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, Jordi Savall, Jos van Veldhoven, Václav Luks, Giovanni Antonini and Fabio Bonizzoni. 

She performed as a soloist in the Lincoln Center in New York, singing solo in Bach’s B minor Mass cooperating with students of The Juilliard School and the Royal Conservatoire, The Hague, led by Ton Koopman. In 2019, she received a prestigious scholarship from The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She was granted the Artistic Residency, awarded by The Polish Institute of Music and Dance. Aldona won third prize at The 4th International Early Music Vocal Competition Canticum Gaudium. With the Wrocław Baroque Ensemble she has recorded seven solo albums. 

Together with pianist Maurice Lammerts van Bueren she recorded the CD Melancholia with songs and mazurka’s by Chopin, Paderewski and Szymanowski.

ALDONA BARTNIK, sopraan

Sopraan Aldona Bartnik studeerde aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, waar zij zich specialiseerde in solo- en ensemblezang. Sinds 2008 heeft Aldona samengewerkt met diverse prestigieuze ensembles, zoals Vox Luminis, La Risonanza, Collegium 1704, Hespèrion XXI, Collegium Vocale Gent, De Nederlandse Bachvereniging, samenwerkend met ditigenten als Philippe Herreweghe, Jordi Savall, Jos van Veldhoven,Václav Luks, Giovanni Antonini en Fabio Bonizzoni.

Zij zong als solist in Bachs Hohe Messe in het Lincoln Center in New York onder leiding van Ton Koopman. Ze won in 2017 de derde prijs op het 4th International Early Music Vocal Competition Canticum Gaudium. Een studiebeurs als artist- in-residence werd haar toegekend door het Instituut voor Muziek en Dans in Polen.In 2019 ontving zij een beurs van het Poolse Ministerie van Cultuur en Nationaal Erfgoed. Met het barokensemble van Wrocław maakte ze zeven solo-opnames.

Met pianist Maurice Lammerts van Bueren bracht zij de CD Melancholia uit, met daarop liederen en mazurka’s van Chopin, Paderewski en Szymanowski.
